- Saint-Brice on the right bank from the outflow of the Ri de Gensac to the écluse de Gardemoulin. In all 1000 meters.
- Sireuil on a posted stretch.
- Chateauneuf on the right bank from the confluent with the Vélude to Chemin de la Trache
The stretches upstreams Angouillême are by some regarded as some of the best on this interesting river. The nightfishing swims are not nescessarily the most interesting! Many small tracks lead to the river, and some swims are accessible by car. Carp are abundant in this river - and not few of them are in the 10 - 20 kg bracket.

English owned fishery for up to 6 anglers on the two waters of 5 acres and 1½ cres, stocked with many big carp to mid-forties. Most of the fish 20 lbs+. Bait freezer, boat, shower and toilet available.

At Laprade from l'île d'Amour to the pont d'Aubeterre.
At Bonnes du pont from Bonnes to the first damm on the right bank.

Kingfisher lake, Poumeroux, Massignac
7 acres brittish owned and run commercial fishery with carp to 60 lbs+ and cats to 95 lbs. A place to take the family - if you can afford it! - I guess it won't get any more expensive than this!

Laveaud, Plan d'eau de, St. Quintin
Nightfishing allowed on this 220 ha water, from Vallée de Coudert to the damm.  Vignette "Club Halieutique" nescessary,

Lucie, Lac, Poumeroux, Massignac
3½ acre private, brittish owned and run commercial venue with carp to 50 lbs+. A one-man venue for the ones who can afford it! - I guess it won't get any more expensive than this!

Mas Chaban, Plan d'eau,
Nightfishing allowed on this 200 ha water at 
- Commune de Lézignac Durand, from the Voie communale de la Contie to Pied de la route départementale 162, Vignette "Club Halieutique" nescessary.
- Commune de Massignac, on a signed sector, Vignette "Club Halieutique" nescessary
Boats not allowed.
