Cazères, Barrage de,
Dammed lake on the Garonne, area 120 ha., some  50 km south of Toulouse. Quite shallow and sandy bottoms, but holding an impressive amount of carp to at least 15-20 kg - and with a chance of a 30 kg+ suspected. Night fishing with 4 rods are allowed - and the deeper parts near the damm are considered the best bet for the bigger fish. Still a virtually virgin water without any pressure at all. Nightfishing allowed at several sectors:
- Retenue de Manciès on the right bank from the most upstream ponton of the Base nautique de Rieux to the cliffs
- Quai de salles on the left bank.
- Cazères - see above.
- La Péniche some 200 m upstream the damm, on both banks and from the Volp de la Confluence to Chemin de Terssac.

Nightfishing allowed on this very beautifull water - but not in the month of july. A part of the lake is impossible to fish most of the season - too many swimmers! Several restaurants and "Buvettes" almost on the shore. Also sometimes called Lac de Revel. Bivvies and the use of boats are not allowed!
2. round of the french carpfishing championshipafdeling were held here october 1.-3.  '99. The very beautifull reservoir is well signed from the main road in the town of Revel. The carp here are fast growing, for the time being averaging approx. 9 kgs.

- On 3000 meters af the right bank from the track downstrem Villemur to the track at Dérocade upstream
- On the right bank from the hanging bridge at Villemur to the confluence with Ruisseau de Bondigoux upstream.
- On the left bank on 450 meters from the track downstream Villemur to the point of the island.
- On the left bank from the Chaussée de Dérocade to the departemental border Tarn-et-Garonne upstream
