Grangent, Barrage de,
Nightfishing possibilities have been cut back for 2005, as one of the most popular sectors have now been closed for fishing at night. Local anglers fear, that this step is the beginning to the end of nightfishing in this magnificent water. For 2005 the nightsectors are:
- both banks on lot A14, from Neufs ponts to the new bridge at Pertuiset
-     -    -    -    -    A16, from the Confluence from l’Ondaine to village de Révoles 
-     -    -    -    -    A17, from Village de Révotes the the acces to the river Loire from the route départementale 3-2

Loire, Roanne - St. Etienne.
The river Loire, between the dams at Villerest (upstreams Roanne) and Grangent (downstreams St. Etienne), and by Roanne are secured by dykes, from which you can experience magnificent fishing for the especially hard-fighting river Loire carp. Mostly commons in the 6-8 kg bracket, but also from time to time mirrors, caught to some 20 kg+. It is said, that the hard job here is not to get the carp to take the bait - but that's when the trouble starts!
These are the nightsectors for 2005:
-    both banks on lot A19, from le Guitay stream to the retenue des Giraudières
-     -    -    -    -    -  A20, from the stream called ruisseau de la Verrerie to the confluence with the Furan
-     -    -    -    -    -  B1, from the confluence with the Furan to the cimetière de Saint Cyprien (graveyard)
-     -    -    -    -    -  B2, from the cimetière de Saint Cyprien to the bridge of the l’Autoroute A72
-     -    -    -    -    -  B3, from the bridge of l’autoroute A72 to pont de Veauche
-    right bank on lot B4, from Pont de Veauche to pont de Rivas
-    Left bank on lot B11, from la ferme Michalon to the pont de la Loire at Feurs
-    Left bank on lot B11, from the station de pompage to the Carriere Sbeghen at pont de la Loire at Feurs
Nightfishing is allowed on the entire river in the the Loiret (45) Departement!

Villerest, Barrage de,
Nightfishing now only on part of this huge, and very interresting reservoir. For 2005 the sectors are:
-    both banks lot B16, from the confluence the stream le Bernand to the confluence of l’Aix
-     -    -    -    -    -  B17, from the confluence de l’Aix to the bridge at Pinay
-     -    -    -    -    -  B18, from the bridge at Pinay to the confluence from la goutte Charavet on the left bank
-     -    -    -    -    -  B24, from the ancient piles the bridge Saint Maurice to  la goutte Fronde on the right bank
-     -    -    -    -    -  B25, from la Goutte fronde on the right bank to the Villerest dam wall
-     -    -    -    -    -  B27, from pont du Vernay the the railway , at the confluence from Renaison
