Bouchet, Lac de, Cayres, Le Puy-en-Velay.
This virtually circular water of 44 ha situated in a vast crater after a volcanic explosion some 700.000 years back is about 30 meters deep. In '95 it was stocked with 950 kgs of carp averaging  8 kilos - with a few larger specimens to 12 kgs. Fishing is allowed with 2 rods only - but no fishing mondays.

Loire, 
Nightfishing allowed at several stretches 2004:
- from the confluence with La Borne to the barrage E.D.F. de Saint Simon, on 9 500 m, 
- Lavoute sur Loire, fromthe iron bridge at La Galoche to the confluence with La Suissesse, on 500m, 
- from the digue du Grand Moulin to the digue at the electrical power plant at Changeac on the right bank on 600 m, 
- from the confluence with L'Arzon at Vorey to the railway bridge at La Bourange, on 19 450 m, 
- from the confluence with the Ramel to pont de Doguet - Confolent, on 4 550 m, 
- from the confluence with L'Ance du Nord to the confluence with ruisseau Le Folletier, on 4 050 m, 
- on 500 m of the right bank at the place called "Berry" .

La Chaux, Retournac
On this piece of river, the Loire is no more than 50 m wide, and the nightfishing zone is 20 kg long. The river is well stocked with commoncarp aroúnd the 8 kg mark, and occasional  mirrors to 19 kg quite recently stocked into the river. You rarely blank totally on this stretch of river - a few fish usually play along. The chub can be a nuissance here.

This 6 ha. water is also called „Étang Vert".

Sembadel, Lac de, Sembadel-Gare.
A very beautifull forrest lake, stocked with different species of fis in '92.The water is quite acidic, and growth rates are not expected to be too impressive, but carp to 15 kg+ hav been caught there.
It's a private water, and andvance reservations are recommended on phone 16 71 02 25 50 wednesdays from 9-19, or daily betwen 20 and 21 on phone 16 71 57 02 49.

Water of 4 ha. No nightfishing any more.
