This small 20 ha. water in the Parc des Forges is a quite easy water with smallish carp to at least 16 kg. 2 rods allowed.

Genêts, Les, Ernée, Larchamps
A max of 6 anglers is set for this 6 acres, english owned, commercial lake. Good stocks of 20-30 lbs carp - lake record 40 lbs. Toilets and showers available.


Gue de Selle, Étang de, Mézangers.
With 58 ha. in size, this water alledgedly is stocked with 9 tonnes of carp - of which 8-900 is around the 10 kg mark. Fish of 20 kg are also caught here. In a week 2 anglers caught 60 carp averaging 9 kilos!

Mayenne,
The river Mayenne is reputed for its many big carp. Generally, the carp are bigger in the southern part of the river, as the water in the north end is quite cold. An average carp of 10 kg in the north - but 15 in the south! ... ? !!

Several sectors can be nightfished:

Mayenne: From 200 meters dowstreams sluice no. 1 to Pont St. Baudelle on the left bank.

La Meignannerie: From 700 to 100 meters upstream of sluice 17 - left bank.

Boisseau: From 200 meters downstream of sluice 18 to the A81 highway-bridge (Paris-Rennes) - left bank.

la Bordage, right bank from 20 m downstream the confluence du Vicoin to 200 m downstream l'écluse n° 27 (Briassé)

La Fosse: From 300 meters downstreams sluice 29 to 200 meters downstreams Chemin du Pressoir - right bank. (commune de Houssay)

la Boirie , right bank from ruisseau de la Boirie to 200 m en upstyream l'écluse n° 30 (la Rongère)

Neuville: From 200 meters downstreams sluice 31 to 200 meters upstreams sluice 32 - right bank.

Ménil: From 300 meters downstreams sluice 36 to 200 meters upstreams sluice  37, except from where the C101 road runs along the river for 800 m from thecrossing with CD 267 - right bank.

Formusson: From 200 - 900 meters downstreams sluice 37 - right bank.

Montautiers, Les, Cuillie
This english owned commercial venue is also known under the name "Hooked in France". Most of the carp here go 25 lbs+ - the biggest a 45.8 mirror. Catfish are also present. Kitchen, toilet and shower available. 3 rods allowed.

Moulin de Passais, Mayenne
5 acre english owned commercial venue, offering 7 swims and a good stock of carp to 43 lbs.. "Every" facillity available.

This water of 140 ha in Commune Saint-Loup-du-Gast is know for the good stock of carp to 20 kg+. Nightfishing is allowed from „La Guimonière" to "Le Domaine".
