Nightfishing allowed all year 2004 on several stretches
- from 50 m downstream l'écluse 46 (Wingersheim) to the l'écluse 47 (Eckwersheim).
- from 200 m downstream l'écluse 47 to 100 m upstream the pont Tournant de Vendenheim.
- from pont Tournant de Vendenheim to pont called Lampertheim.
- from pont called Lampertheim (RD64) upstream  l'écluse 49 at Reichstett to the upstream end of the yacht habour at Souffelweyersheim.

Canal Rhin-Rhône - Branche Nord 
Nightfishing all year 2008:
- from 50 m downstream l'écluse 77 (Obenheim) to l'écluse 78 (Gerstheim).
- from 100 m downstream l'écluse 81 (Plobsheim) to l'écluse 82 (Eschau).
- from 50 m downstream l'écluse 82 (Eshau) to l'écluse 83 (Illkirch-Graffenst).

Reichstett, Étang de, Strasbourg, 
This lake north of Strasbourg is known for excellent carp fishing, and regular re-stocking are undertaken. In '97 35 big koi carp of 6½ to 8 kg were stocked! A marble carp of 24 kg was caught on a pop-up boilie in 1992. Very big amur grasscarp are present too.
Once a year, a winter enduro is arranged here. Nightfishing is permitted in weekends.

Ill, Hüttenheim
This very nice little Alsacian river was the scene of the french carp championship in 2003, approx. mid-way between Sélestat and Strassbourg. It was to be hard going for many of the participants, and only 406,15 kg carp was caught in total. The average fish was about 6½ kg.>Média Carpe no. 54, no/dec 2003<
Nightfishing is allowed from june 4. to september 18. on:
    - Kogenheim, right bank from the confluence of the Bornen along the road for 1000 m.
    - Hüttenheim, right bank from the football field to the Pont de l'Ill on 675 m.
    - Hüttenheim-Benfeld, left bank from the ERGE factory to the Maison de Retraite JAEGER on 600 m.
    - Osthouse, right bank, downstream the CD131 on 700 meter, to the Erstein commune.
    - Illkirsch-Grafenstaden, left bank along Chemin de la Hardt from the Pont de la rue du 23 Novembre to 600 meter upstream this bridge.

Rhin
The Rhine river itself deserve much more attention from carpanglers.
Even though a few local anglers fish it on a reagular basis, most visiting anglers are discurraged by the huge river and the often predominant heavy currents - but they miss out on a venue of great potentials! In several areas, the current normally is by no means discurraging - quiet stretches and old blind arms can be found, where huge grasscarp feed on the vegegation at depths of 2-3 meters - while the carp apparently are to be found a bit deeper in these areas - good fish of 8 - 10 kg - and always the chance of a really big one at 25 - 30 kg+! Such fish have been caught - not often, but they are there.
Grasscarp of 20 - 30kg+ are targeted by local specialists (and caught, I might add), who have no doubts in their minds, that a new french record „Amur Blanc" is bound to come out from the river Rhine!

    - Rhinau, left bank, from PK 259 to PK 261,just upstream Rhinau
    - Daubensand, from PK 265 to PK 267
    - Strasbourg, from PK 295.5 to PK 300
    - Drüsenheim, from PK 313.6 to 315.3 and from PK 321.8 to PK 323
    - Seltz, from PK 336.6 to PK 349.2, at the upstream entrance to the Port de Lauterbourg

Sermersheim, Plan d'eau de, Sélestat
This water north-east of Sélestat has produced many very good carp to 18,6 kg - essentially mirrors. A koi at 12 kg is also present.

Seltz, Ballastières de,  
Known for big grasscarp.

Sogral, Gravière de,
Enduros are held here in this 35 ha. water.

Wantzenau, Étang de,
Mirror of 14,75 kg reported.
