Situated just above  the big Serre Poncon Lake, this water of 30 ha. boasts a stock of very big commons to 24 kg. The water here is relatively cold, but locals quite frequently catch very good fish. A hot spot is said to be the approx. 500 meters of beach.

Serre-Poncon, Lac de,  
With echosounders, carp estimated to be 30 kg+ has been recorded during spawning seasons in this big, but rather cold lake - but with appropriate reservations, this could very well indicate an up untill now undisclosed potential for really big fish.
As access to the lake is difficult, it has not been fished to any extend yet.
