Big enduros are held here - just half the lake accomodates 28 teams! Carp to 18,2 kg has been caught..

Brenne, Château-Renault 
Nightfishing on the left bank from upstream the bridge to the sluice - 700 m.

Chamorin, Étang de,
Enduros are held here. 

Chateau-La-Vallière, Lac de,
Nightfishing is allowed on 800 m of the right bank of this public water, also called Lac du Val Joyeux.  

Cher  
Several nightfishing stretches:
- Larçay on the left bank from the railway bridge to l'écluse de Larçay - 800m.
- Larçay the right bank along the road between the Lac Mineur and the Lac Majeur des Peupleraies to the Réserve du barrage de Larçay. 
- Tours right bank from the bridge to the Grand Moulin.
- Bléré left bank from pont de Bléré to the Ruisseau des Canaux - 500m.
- Azay-sur-Cher left bank upstream Pont d'Azay to barrrage de Nitray - 3.4 km.
- Chisseaux right bank from 100 , upstream the barrage de Chisseaux to the departemental border - 800m.

Creuse,  
Nightfishing on 2 sectors:
- La Celle-Saint-Avant, on the right bank of Plan d'eau lot B10 - 2 Km.
- Yzeures sur Creuse on the right bank downstream Iles Gibault to the beach.

Indrois, Genillé 
Nightfishing on both banks of parcelle 123 to parcelle 146 on the left bank and to parcelle 164 à 274 on the right bank - 300 m.

Lanthan
Nightfishing on 600 m of the right bank from Barrage de Grésillon to Barrage de la Gare on 600 m. 

L'Ile Perchette, Étang de
This small public water has a section, where nightfishing is allowed - but with a 48 hours maximum.

Libellule, Ballastière de la, Tournon-St.-Pierre.
Numerous carp between 5 and 10 kg can be caught from this  3,8 ha  private water - and carp of 15kg+ has also been caught. 100 silver grasscarp of 7 -10 kg has been stocked in '94. Nightfishing allowed.

Loire, 
Many sectors open for nightfishing:
Amboise, Cangey, Chargé, Husseau, Limeray, Lussault, Mosnes, Nazelles Negron, Noizay,  Right bank from borne 51 in the dpt Loir-et-Cher to borne Km 17 of the dpt Indre-et-Loire - and left bank from PK 412, 75 to PK 430, 4  - that is for 17, 35 Km.
La ville aux Dames, Montlouis, Rochecorbon, St Pierre des Corps, Vouvray, On the right bank from PK 24, 2 to PK 29, 4 and left bank from PK 437,8 to PK 442, 6.
Tours right bank from pont de Napoléon to pont de la Motte.(2.4 Km)
Langeais right bank from 150 m upstream pont de Langeais to the station d'épuration (150 m downstream the bridge - 300 m.
Langeais, Villandry  left bank in the commune de Villandry at the fall after the réserve des Navets and l'île des Raguins and the place called « Les grandes levées » to the place called Roberts, commune de la Chapelle aux Naux (1,1 Km).

Mousseaux, Lac de, Chemillé-sur-Indrois,
Nightfishing allowed on 3 km bank of this water - but with a 48 hrs. limit.

Noizay-Ile Perchette, Plan d'eau de  
Nightfishing after reservation on 200 m of the southern bank

Rillé, Lac de,
Approx. 40 km west of Tours, this doubble-reservoir of 260 ha.on the river Lanthan, when full of water, also known as Lac de Pincemaille and Lac de Moussaux, offers excellent carp fishing, and many 20 kg+ carp have been landed here. As the reservoir is used for irrigation, in autumn the size of the rather shallow lake, with an average depth of 2 meters, will gradually drop to 50 ha. Nightfishing is only possible after written application for a personal authorization from the Fédération (look in the top of the page). Authorizations are apparently only given for 48 hrs at a time. Only 6 2-man swims are available for nightfishing on the Lac de Pincemaille. Boats are not allowed on Pincemaille - but on Moussaux boats can be used.

Rosiers, Étang de,
Quite easy fishing reported.

Ruillé-sur-Loir, Étangs de, Ruillé-sur-Loir, Valée du Loir. 
Étang de Coudraie is the name of the biggest 16 ha. pit of only 20 years of age and holding both carp, grasscarp and sturgeons. Easy acces by car to the entire water. Nightfishing is allowed. The bottom is very irregular, with many features worth a try. Very little angling pressure.
A water of 5 ha., Étang de la Maison de Retraite in the vicinity also holds good carp averaging a respectable 10 kg - but is for some reason even less fished than the above mentioned. 
The river Loire also hold many good carp, with 10 to 11 kg fish coming out regularly, and fish to 20 kg has been caught occasionally. Nightfishing is allowed on 1½ km at Le Gatz.
Two camping sites are present by this town - both facing the river. Permits can be obtained from Hôtel Saint-Pierre.
Lac de Varennes, also known for good carpfishing, is not far away.

Vienne. 
Several nightfishing sectors:
- Saint-Germain-sur-Vienne on the left bank from lot B10 upstream to Pont «Clan» - 1.5 Km.
- Chinon on the right bank at Quai Pasteur to the Garage de Saint-Louans -2.5 Km.
- L'Ile Bouchard on the right bank from Pont de l'Ile Bouchard to the Ruisseau le Ruau - 3 Km.
- Dangé-Saint-Romain from the cobstones downstream the Pont de Dangé to 50 m upstream the Frayère des Ormes - 6.2 Km
