Aisne,
Nightfishing authorized on the left bank downstream the damm at Asfeld, and on the right bank on a 1½ km stretch upstrem the railway bridge.

Ayvelles, La Ballasiere de
Nightfishing allowed.

Canal des Ardennes
Nightfishing allowed on 3 sectors:
On the left bank from the place called "la tranchée russe" on 1000 m along the tow-path.
At Rethel, on the right bank of Bief de Thugny at the broken bridge to the "siphon de vidange".
At Vrizy, on 500 m along the tow-path from the l'écluse de Vrizy to about 700 m in the direction of l'écluse de Voncq.

Canal de Château-Porcien,
Nightfishing authorized from PK43 to PK44.

Donchery, La Ballastière de, Donchery,
Nightfishing allowed 2004 on this very pretty lake with many islands and carp to 60 lbs+.

Communal water with nightfishing.

Vieille-Forges, Lac de, Renwez.  
This 150 ha water north-west of Charleville-Mézières is apporximately 4 km long and 600 meters wide at its widest part. Depths go to 3 meters, and the bottom is rather soft, in places littered with tree-stumps. The carp population is not that big, but very big fish are present. Carp of 30 kg has been caugh there. The water is not easily accesible everywhere - and the risc of getting stuck with the car in the tracks are to consider. A 4-wheel drive car is not a bad idea!
3 stretches are open for nightfishing 2008.
Carte de Pêche can be obtained from Hotel des Voyageurs, 11 Rue des Martyrs de la Resistance in Renwez, and from the Tabac/Presse at the old railway station in Revin.
