Aiguilles, Le lac des, Argens, 
This private water of 22 ha. just below the mountains north of the Minervois wine district offers fishing for specimen carp, present to 25 kg. Also siberian sturgeons and wels catfish are stocked, as well as are black bass.

Aude, Blomac, Puichéric, Barbaira
A small river holding a good head of carp of an average around 6-8 kg, but with fish to 14-15 kg not being too rare. Quite difficult to acces in places - but near bridges, its normally possible to find promissing swimms. 
Unfortunately, nightfishing is only allowed from a short 600 meter sector at Barbaira.


Canal du Midi, Castelnaudry,
Runs from Toulouse, passing  Castelnaudry, Carcasonne, Olonzac, Capestang and Bèziers on its way to the Mediterranean at Cap d‘Agde. Nightfishing authorized in the habour in Castelnaudry, where carp of 20 kg has been caught, and at Narbonne from Moulin de Gua to Pont de l'Avenir .
